How much does AutoCAD conversions cost?

Depending on the size, and time to redraw, pricing usually in the range of $100-200 per sheet. We also offer rush 24-hour processing. Sometimes for a very complicated drawing, or topography plans, the price can increase.  We can give you a quote, before converting the file. For a free quote, send us your file.

How long does it take to get the AutoCAD file?

We can send you any file type you need. Typically, conversions are to version AutoCAD *.DWG files, for compatibility. We can also convert to Microstation and 3D Revit.

I have paper plans that I would like converted to AutoCAD.  Can you do that?

Absolutely! We can also offer paper to CAD conversion. You can Contact us, and we can send you a FedEx label to have the sheets shipped to us, where we will scan the pages, and have them converted to AutoCAD.

Are the AutoCAD drawings layered? Or are they just one one layer?

Convert2AutoCAD will send you files that are broken down into layers, maintaining ANSI CAD standards, like plumbing, electrical, text, dimension, road, etc. Each layer is also designated into different colors, by architectural and engineering standards. The files are set up just like a finished product from an architect or engineer.

I have an AutoCAD file I would like to convert to a PDF.  Can you do that?

Absolutely! We can do that with a same day turnaround! Send your file for a quick quote.

Can I see examples of files that have been converted?

Yes. Customers can download actual PDF scans, and the AutoCAD files that were converted to here.

Do you offer bulk pricing?

Yes! Send your files and we can give you a quote on large orders.  Our pricing is the lowest, and we can get them back to you very quickly.

But I can just hire a drafter to do this same service. Why should I use Convert2AutoCAD?

You can hire a drafter, but the average drafter charges $45-$75 per hour, according to Salary.com. To draft a single sheet, it may take 6 to 20 hours.  That can add up to a lot of money.  Rather than worrying about hiring a drafter and having them redraw the sheets in AutoCAD, let us handle the work, while you run your business. Furthermore, if you are not satisfied with the result, we will make the appropriate changes, free of charge.

Can my company offer your services?

Yes! Feel free to send us your resale information, and one of our managers will contact you about special pricing, and tax exemption. Offering conversion to AutoCAD in your business can bring in a lot of revenue, for virtually no labor time, thus increasing your profit.

My AutoCAD file conversion isn’t exactly what I was expecting.  Can I get changes?

Yes! If there was a part of the drawing that you wanted left off, or included, let us know, and we will make the changes for no extra charge.

Do I pay before the conversion?

Yes. We need to make sure payment is made before we start the conversion process.  If you think you may do it often, we can set you up with an account, where you will be billed monthly.
